Many people leave it out for the entire year as it's not specifically for Christmas, and will bring a focal point to your BBQ on a summer evening as well.
Note that this comes broken down, so transportation or packing away after Christmas isn't a problem, however it's a big heavy tree and must be bolted into a secure base (preferably concrete) or it will fall over. We bolt ours to a pallet and cover it with artificial grass. If you'd like a pallet for this purpose we can supply you one.
