An elegant 18th-century lady rises from the top of the egg, with powdered hair, a feathered headpiece and a pink bodice with puffed sleeves, one hand raised gracefully. Her skirt forms the egg itself, covered in rich green with a gold beaded lattice framing little pink roses, all standing on an ornate gold pedestal base.
