Our Sherwood range is built from solid oak and finished in a deep, warm stain that draws the grain out and gives every piece a quietly rustic character.
The pieces are substantial rather than delicate - generous tops, solid timber rather than veneered board, and a smooth finish that shows the natural variation in the wood.
Every drawer in the range is dovetailed. That means the drawer front is locked into the sides rather than just being dowelled or screwed. This type of joint stops a front working loose and coming away in your hand after a few years of pulling. It is not something you can see once the drawer is shut, which is precisely why cheaper furniture does without it.
Metal handles in a soft antique brass finish complete the look.

Product Description
Our Sherwood Dark Solid Oak 1 Drawer Double Wardrobe combines hanging space above with a full-width drawer below, so one piece covers most of what a bedroom needs.
The drawer runs the entire width of the carcass, which makes it genuinely useful rather than a token addition - folded jumpers, spare bedding or shoes all go in flat instead of being stacked at the bottom of the wardrobe where they get trodden on.
Above it, two framed and panelled shaker doors open onto the hanging space. The panels are solid oak with real grain running through them, finished in the same deep dark stain used across the Sherwood range.
Where every inch of hanging height matters more than the drawer, our Sherwood Full Length Double Wardrobe runs the interior to the floor. Our Sherwood 2 Drawer Triple Wardrobe adds a third door and a second drawer.
The wardrobe comes as what is known as knock down. It is fully assembled at the factory and then the panels are taken off again, which is how we get a wardrobe of this size through a doorway and up a staircase. It is not flat pack - the only construction needed is bolting the panels back together, as all hinges, joints and drawers are already built.
If you are local to us and the delivery is made by our own team, the price includes putting the wardrobe where you want it, assembling it and taking all the packaging away.
