Our Sherwood range is built from solid oak and finished in a deep, warm stain that draws the grain out and gives every piece a quietly rustic character.
The pieces are substantial rather than delicate - generous tops, solid timber rather than veneered board, and a smooth finish that shows the natural variation in the wood.
Every drawer in the range is dovetailed. That means the drawer front is locked into the sides rather than just being dowelled or screwed. This type of joint stops a front working loose and coming away in your hand after a few years of pulling. It is not something you can see once the drawer is shut, which is precisely why cheaper furniture does without it.
Metal handles in a soft antique brass finish complete the look.

Our Sherwood Dark Solid Oak 1.32-1.98m Extending Dining Table gives you three lengths in one table, so it adapts to an ordinary Tuesday and to Christmas dinner alike.
Closed, it is 1.32 metres long and seats four comfortably. The first extension takes it to 1.65 metres for six, and fully opened it reaches 1.98 metres, which brings eight people around the table.
Having that middle step is what sets this table apart. Most extending tables are either closed or fully open, but here you can add just enough room for a couple of extra guests without filling the whole dining room with table.
The top is solid oak with a thick, softened edge, standing on square legs at the corners where they stay out of the way of chairs. The deep, dark stain matches the rest of the Sherwood range.
