Our Sherwood range is built from solid oak and finished in a deep, warm stain that draws the grain out and gives every piece a quietly rustic character.
The pieces are substantial rather than delicate - generous tops, solid timber rather than veneered board, and a smooth finish that shows the natural variation in the wood.
Every drawer in the range is dovetailed. That means the drawer front is locked into the sides rather than just being dowelled or screwed. This type of joint stops a front working loose and coming away in your hand after a few years of pulling. It is not something you can see once the drawer is shut, which is precisely why cheaper furniture does without it.
Metal handles in a soft antique brass finish complete the look.

Product Description
Our Sherwood Dark Solid Oak Full Length Double Wardrobe gives you hanging space from top to bottom, with nothing taken out of it for drawers you may not need.
Behind the two panelled doors the interior runs the full height of the carcass, which means long coats, dresses and suit bags hang properly rather than folding over at the hem. If you already have chests of drawers in the room, this is the wardrobe that makes best use of the space it occupies.
The doors are framed and panelled in the shaker manner, with the grain of the solid oak running through each panel rather than being printed onto board. The deep dark stain matches the rest of the Sherwood range exactly.

Tall, solid and generously fitted out, our Sherwood Dark Solid Oak Full Length Double Wardrobe belongs in main bedrooms and larger guest rooms.
The wardrobe comes as what is know as "knock down". This means that the wardrobe has been fully assembled at the factory and then the panels have been removed. This allows us to get wardrobes in houses and up stairs. This differs from flat pack in that the only construction required is bolting the panels together, all hinges; joints, drawers etc are fully assembled.
If you are fairly local to us and we use our own delivery team, the price includes putting your wardrobe where you want it, assembling it and taking all the packaging away.
